Day 1 Arrive Honolulu, Oahu - Tour Begins
Aloha! Your tour begins in Honolulu. Greeted with a traditional Hawaiian floral lei, you’ll be taken by limousine to your hotel.
Day 2 Oahu Following a brief welcome meeting, your introduction to Hawaii begins on a scenic cross island tour to the popular Polynesian Cultural Center. Experience the spirit of aloha as you meet Hawaiians eager to share their stories and their heritage. The Hawaiian greeting, “aloha”, is recognized around the world and reflects the beauty of both the islands and the Hawaiian people. Learn about Hawaiian culture as natives in each village demonstrate crafts, skills and the preservation of traditions and history. (B D)
Day 3 Oahu Depart for Pearl Harbor and view a 23-minute documentary on the “Day of Infamy” at the Visitor’s Center. Afterwards, travel by Naval launch to the USS Arizona Memorial for a poignant experience as you step into the past and the tragic events of December 7, 1941. Later, a city tour of Honolulu highlights the historic Iolani Palace, the impressive state Capitol building, and the moving National Cemetery of the Pacific, commonly referred to as Punchbowl. Tonight take a short stroll to enjoy a mouthwatering Pikake seafood buffet and show. The Society of Seven Show offers a must see musical revue that has been voted the “Best Show in Waikiki”. Offering a spirited mixture of dance, show tunes, Vegas thrills, and pop hits, their high-energy performance will leave you breathless. (B D)
Day 4 Oahu Spend the day experiencing this scenic island at your leisure. Perhaps you will explore Hawaii through an optional Grand Circle Island Tour including Dole Plantation or an afternoon excursion to Diamond Head Lookout. (B)
Day 5 Oahu - Kauai Board your inter-island flight for the “garden isle” of Kauai, the oldest island in the chain. Only on the outer islands can you find the timeless world of ancient Polynesia. Upon arrival, cruise the picturesque Wailua River to the famous tropical Fern Grotto for the singing of the Hawaiian Wedding Song. While on your cruise, enjoy learning the hula during a lesson provided by a hula dancer. Tonight, you are invited to join your fellow travelers poolside for a cocktail party and torch lighting ceremony. Enjoy drinks and conversation as a Hawaiian native moves swiftly along the property carrying a brilliant torch, lighting each tiki along the way. (B D)
Day 6 Kauai After breakfast travel to Waimea Canyon, the largest canyon in the Pacific. The canyon measures 10 miles long, 1 mile wide, and more than 3,500-feet deep. Carved thousands of years ago by rivers and floods, the lines in the canyon walls depict different volcanic eruptions and lava flows that have occurred over the centuries. Though smaller than the Grand Canyon of Arizona, Waimea Canyon rivals its beauty and is truly a dramatic sight to behold. A visit to Hawaii’s largest coffee estate provides the opportunity to browse the museum of artifacts, sample the estate-grown coffees and learn about the coffee bean’s journey from tree to cup. (B)
Day 7 Kauai Your day is at leisure to revel in the many optional activities Hawaii offers. Perhaps you’ll choose a helicopter flightseeing tour along the wild and inaccessible Napali Coast, take a stroll along the beach, or relax poolside while enjoying your hotel’s resort activities. Tonight, join your fellow travelers for a traditional Polynesian Luau featuring drinks, dinner, music and a hula show. (B D)
Day 8 Kauai - Maui Board an inter-island flight to the “valley isle” of Maui, one of the most beautiful and popular outer islands. You will visit the Iao Valley and view the mammoth Iao Needle, one of Maui’s natural land forms. You then travel through sugar cane and pineapple fields before arriving at the resort area of Kaanapali and your deluxe beachfront hotel. (B)
Day 9 Maui Your day is at leisure to enjoy what many feel is one of the finest beaches in the world. You may choose to take an optional shuttle to the old whaling capital of Lahaina, once home of the world’s largest whaling fleets. Or, choose an optional whale watch cruise or an early morning sightseeing tour to Haleakala, the world’s largest dormant volcano. Tonight, join your fellow travelers for a farewell dinner, marking the end of a wonderful tour. (D)
Day 10 Maui - Tour Ends Bid "Aloha" to Hawaii as your wonderful tour ends in Maui.
Luxurious accommodations, white sand beaches, red-glazed sunsets, turquoise waters and lush, tropical landscapes will invigorate your senses on your Hawaiian adventure to three distinct, tropical paradises. Each island offers a different view of this amazing archipelago, formed by volcanic peaks and Polynesian cultures. On Oahu, home to the bustling state capital of Honolulu, you'll find some of the most recognizable landmarks in the world, including Pearl Harbor and Waikiki Beach. On a city tour of Honolulu, you'll see the historic Iolani Palace and the poignant Punchbowl National Memorial, the national cemetery of the Pacific. During your leisure time, Oahu offers an incredible range of activities and attractions, including snorkeling, museums, and fabulous shopping. On Kauai, the oldest of the main islands, you'll enjoy a cruise up the picturesque Wailua River where you'll learn the hula before arriving at the famous tropical Fern Grotto. This island's emerald green valleys and majestic waterfalls can be experienced from an optional helicopter ride along the rugged Napali coast. Perhaps the most famous of all the Hawaiian Islands, Maui combines magnificent scenery with ample time for must-do's like watching the sun rise above the clouds at the 10,023-foot summit of Haleakala, the world's largest dormant volcano; and a visit to the mammoth Iao Needle, one of Maui's natural land forms.
